I have two types of classes. Conversational classes and Pronunciation.
With my conversational classes, I use a wide range of material ranging from debates, news articles, and role plays, to Collocations, Phrasal verbs, and using music and videos. The objective is to get the students speaking from the off. I will ask you before the class to choose a topic or activity you find interesting, and prepare for it ready for the class. During the class I will be making notes on any errors you may have made, both in grammar, and pronunciation. At the end of the class, I will share the screen so we can have a look together. After the class I will add homework to the document. I will then share this document with you so you can study it and understand their errors. This document is checked together at the beginning and end of every class.

With my pronunciation classes, before the first class, I send a list of topics to each student to choose from. You will choose three topics of their choice, and speak spontaneously for a minute on each one. You will send me the audios so I can diagnose any problems you may have with any of the sound from the phonemic chart. During the first class, we will discuss these problems together.
We will then move forward, firstly working on all of the sounds on the phonemic chart in which I would explain to you, in detail, how each of the sounds in produced using the correct techniques. We will then move onto the other aspects of Pronunciation, including connected speech, intonation, and strong and weak forms.
