My name is Sophie and I am a native speaker from England. I have been living in Australia for the last 8 years but now I am living in Peru. I love to be by the ocean and I surf almost every day! I am an English teacher for both children and adults & have been teaching English for the last 9 years.

You are probably wondering how the classes look like. I like to teach English by activities that help you learn new words and phrases, role playing real life situations, games that help you relax and thanks to which you have fun and can boost your confidence. Also, during the classes there are a lot of listening, writing and reading activities included.

As I mentioned before, I have 9 years of teaching experience. My students are from ages 11 years to 40 years old. Nowadays I am teaching English in a local school in Peru. I love to meet new people by having interesting conversations and learning about their culture. Because of that, travelling is my passion and I have traveled around the world to 26 countries.

Since I moved to Peru, I am learning a new language too. I understand the struggles that come across learning a new language but I think that it feels amazing when you learn new words or your conversations improve, so I can guarantee you that I will try to make you feel this satisfaction while learning English too!
