My name is Isabel Cristina Durango Fernández, I am an international biologist graduate from Universidad de Los Andes, Mérida, Venezuela. I have experience as a teacher since I have been working as a high school teacher for a year in my current job (uDiscover Virtual American School), and previous experience because I was a Teaching Assistant in Biochemistry during my bachelor's. I also worked as an English and Math teacher in a public school in Venezuela.

Nowadays, I am teaching in a bilingual virtual school in the following grades and subjects: Science - 8, Chemistry-and Biology-I am also the 10th-grade Group Director, so I lead the Homeroom sessions and have meetings with parents about the student's progress. I enjoy teaching because I am strengthening my foundations of knowledge, but also It makes me very happy when I feel that I can connect with my students and understand their feelings. I give my best and most honest advice if someone asks for it.

I am a Spanish native speaker. I have the TOEFL and Duolingo English Test certifications with a C1 score on the CERF. I can teach subjects such as Spanish, English, Biology, chemistry, and science.
