Andrea Catalina Marín Hurtado

Bilingual social studies teacher with 5 years of experience applying different methodologies in different age groups. I am a graduate of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, with service-oriented skills and efficient performance of activities and processes of teaching, research and school support. My field of study of study covers specific knowledge in the areas of history, geography, political science and philosophy, whose bases have enabled an understanding of current phenomena based on an interdisciplinary exercise, this exercise has opened the doors to generate research focused on the conceptualization, development and formation of childhood -childhood, adolescence and youth-.

I have worked as a bilingual teacher (Spanish-English) in the area of social studies both in elementary and high school. I have developed study guides in both languages and led cross-cutting projects in democracy and history. During the work done in different institutions I have acquired skills such as teamwork organization, project development, group management and conflict resolution, which have given me clarity in my professional and work training process. It is also important to mention that I have a high sense of belonging, commitment, punctuality and responsibility.
